Elegant entertaining and blockbuster exhibitions. The Royal Academy is the oldest fine arts institution in the country and is the only place where art can be seen, debated, created and bought. Its three venues provide exceptional surroundings for entertaining in the very centre of London. Our suite of 18th century Fine Rooms can accommodate up to 350 for a reception and 100 for dinner. They have beautiful period interiors and are hung with works of art from our Collection. Guests can also have a private view our current exhibition. During our renowned Summer Exhibition, we offer the unique opportunity to entertain in the Main Galleries, which are hung with contemporary art. The Galleries can accommodate up to 800 people for a reception and 250 for dinner. The Fine Rooms and Main Galleries are available for hire Monday to Thursday.
