Rémy Martin launched the Rémy Martin Restaurant Awards in 2003 to recognize the emerging talent of the UK restaurant scene – those restaurants that were receiving consistently excellent reviews from British diners and setting new exacting standards for the whole industry.

These awards are won not through the ratings of restaurant critics or panels of judges but through the reviews of ordinary people who love dining out and understand what it takes to make that experience a real pleasure.

In our sixth year we are recognising eleven restaurants which have achieved outstanding levels of excellence - six regional restaurants and five London restaurants.

The six regions are divided as follows:

• Scotland
• North East England
• North West England
• Central England
• South West England
• South East England

One restaurant has also been awarded the ultimate accolade - the Rémy Martin Excellence Award. This award is given to the restaurant which has show itself to be the most outstanding rising star of the UK restaurant scene.
